Our Beginners Yoga Class encourages gentle progress while teaching good habits that you can build upon as you progress through your yoga journey . By working individually, yet within a supportive and fun group environment, your learning is transformed into a full mind, body and spirit experience.
Level 1 Yoga
After completing the fundamentals in our Beginners Yoga class, you have a choice to progress to Level 1 Yoga. Here you will be introduced to new postures and will work further on your breathing, which is at the core of yoga practice. The instruction is clear and detailed and you will always be given the opportunity to have any questions answered.
Level 2 Yoga
In Level 2 Yoga, students are now well established with the yoga practices learned in Beginners Yoga and Level 1 Yoga. By incorporating breath with movement, our practice evolves into a moving meditation. The Level 2 Yoga class is still guided by a teacher, with some grouped postures and the opportunity to learn the entire sequencing of Ashtanga Vinyasa.
These classes are open to Level 1 & Level 2, the class is taught as a multi-level class.
A gentle and nurturing class to relax and revive you. With the use of bolsters, blankets, cushions and blocks, we work with a more passive posture hold to release tension. Suitable for all levels including beginners.
Ashtanga Led Class
Although all of our classes based on a modified version of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Sequencing, the Ashtanga Led Class follows the traditional sequence of the Primary Series. ( modifications always given to make the class accessible to everyone )
Mysore (Assisted Self Practice)
Mysore style yoga is an assisted self-practice yoga class where students follow the Ashtanga Vinyasa Sequencing at their own pace. Complete beginners most welcome. The class is modelled on the Ashtanga Yoga classes in Mysore, India, taught by the late Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and now his grandson Sharath Rangaswami. This style of yoga class ensures a safe and progressive way of correctly developing a yoga practice at home.
Yoga Breathing (Pranayama)
Prana is Sanskrit for ‘life force’. Pranayama – ‘control of prana’ – is the release and channeling of the body’s stores of pranic energy, and we achieve this through control of our breath. Working on internal pressure with the management of Co2 is imperative to purify the systems. Pranayama breathing practices gradually decondition the breathing habits and patterns associated with a distracted mind. The practices stretch or extend the inhale, the exhale and the suspensions between them, allowing the sensations of each phase of the breath to become an object of meditation.With awareness of breath comes an awareness of mind-body and a control of the life force within.
Pranayama practice is far more than just breathing, it triggers an awakening. Pranayama is a path to a high level of physical health, mental clarity and stability, calm, connectedness, self-knowledge and an authentic life.
Pranayama practice cannot be hurried, and its results may not be immediate, but with patience, persistence, and a little faith, you will steadily reap its rewards.
Yoga Kriyas (Cleansing techniques)
Also termed sat-karma kriyas, are yoga techniques that cleanse the internal organs, respiratory system, optical path, and gastrointestinal tract. Kriyas refresh the inner paths, removing sluggishness and getting things moving through the system. With the systems balanced your body works more efficiently.
Meditation & Chanting
The breath is life, to stop breathing is to die. The breath is vital, natural, soothing, revealing. It is our constant companion. Wherever we go, at all times, the breath sustains life and provides the opportunity for spiritual development. In practicing mindfulness upon and through the breathing, we develop and strengthen our mental abilities and spiritual qualities. Through mindfulness with breathing as a meditation technique we learn how to relax the body and calm the mind. As the mind quiets and clears, we investigate how life, how the mind and body, unfolds. We discover the fundamental reality of human existence and learn how to live our lives in harmony with that reality. And all the while, we are anchored in the breath, nourished and sustained by the breath, soothed and balanced by the breath, sensitive to the breathing in and breathing out. This is our practice. We also practice chanting ancient Sanskrit Mantra. Both of these practices allow students to look deeper into the aspects of yoga practice beyond just the physical.

Private Yoga Sessions (One-on-one)
Private yoga sessions are one-on-one classes where the teacher and student can work specifically on a sequence tailored to the individual. This class is perfect for those wishing to refine their own home practice and is also suited to students who are recovering from injury or require a more gentle therapeutic session.
